For Teachers

CHS-certified high school teachers collaborate with Pitt's world-class faculty to deliver courses in person, in their classroom that earn both high school and University of Pittsburgh credit.

The first step in offering CHS courses is for teachers to become certified by CHS. The time frame for teacher application is October 1 - March 31 for courses beginning the next school year. Complete the application using Aspire. Submitted applications will be reviewed by Pitt Faculty. Certification is attained once the application has faculty approval and you attend a required teacher-orientation program held virtually in May. Interested high school principals, superintendents, or teachers should contact the CHS office.
